JK Rowling and Piers Morgan twitter brawl over Trump’s ‘Muslim ban’

12 Feb, 2017

Piers Morgan, editor-at-large of Mail Online, and J K Rowling, author famous for her Harry Potter series, had a twitter dispute over Donald Trump’s "Muslim ban" on Saturday.

The Twitter feud began when Rowling tweeted about enjoying Morgan being told to “f*** off” by an Australian comedian, Jim Jefferies, when Morgan defended Trump’s “Muslim Ban” during an HBO show Real Time.

Real Time host Bill Maher also commented on the matter and said if Trump was not the elected president “there wouldn’t be a Muslim ban”.

Morgan on Trump’s defence said that “there was no Muslim ban.” The panellist Jefferies immediately reacted to Morgan’s reply by saying “f*** off.” He added: “You’re just like that [because] you won the apprentice and you have a famous friend, mate.”

Jefferies even compared Trump with Adolf Hitler.
