StanChart Bank opens a business development office at Comilla

Standard Chartered opened a business development office for Comilla Export Processing Zone in Comilla recently.

This is the fifth such office after Dhaka, Chittagong, Adamjee and Karnaphuli EPZ, said a press release.

With this office the bank expands its offerings to better serve the corporate clientele at Comilla EPZ.

The office will provide strategic service representation to the existing and potential clients. This will include trade documentation assistance and collection of day-to-day instructions and documents from clients for onward processing.

In addition to this, clients will be able to avail various certifications required for trade transactions directly from the EPZ area.

Abrar A Anwar, Chief Executive Officer, Apurva Jain, Head of Transaction Banking, Enamul Huque, Head of Commercial Banking from Standard Chartered Bangladesh, Md Mehboob Ali, General Manager from Comilla EPZ, other senior officials along with valued clients were present to mark the occasion.
