‘Rhythm of Nature’ concludes at BNM today

Artist Ismail Chowdhury meticulously portrays the splendor and robust colours of nature in his canvases. Chowdhury’s 43rd solo exhibition, Rhythm of Nature, concludes at Bangladesh National Museum (BNM) today.

“There is a calming effect in the artwork. Each work is detailed and magnifies perfection in depth,” the Mayor of Fukuroi City, Japan, mentions in the artist’s catalogue. Intricate details of water, sky, leaves, trees, flowers and other elements of nature are subjects of the 24 acrylic paintings displayed at the show. Eminent artists Hashem Khan and Rokeya Sultana visited the exhibition.

Born in Dhaka, Chowdhury completed his BFA from the Institute of Fine Arts of University of Chittagong in 1997. He graduated from Tokoha Gakuen University, Faculty of Art and Design, Shizouka, Japan, in 2008.
